Default Joseph Wostenholm Prussian Army Razor Translucent Horn

I've dusted off my razor storage boxes and looked at razors that I have not looked at in a long time.

The etch is hard to see but it's an image of Emporer Wilhelm I (reign 1861-1888).

Lovely Chris. From a collectors point of view an historic blade with pressed horn scales. Translates to big $$.

Absolutely beautiful pressed scales and Kaiser Bill on the blade! Love it.

That one is unique! I have never seen any razor with the Prussian signature and it is in good shape. That belongs in a collection.

Very nice razor Chris! I really like translucent horn scales. The razor is just fine the way it is but if you hand buff it with very little Neets it will clean the horn a bit and maybe clarify them a bit also. Nothing wrong leaving them as is though.

Enjoy this prize piece and put it back into service!

Thanks Joed. I have some neatsfoot I got from Tony Miller. I'm going to try that tonight.
