    Default H. Diamond

I have had H. Diamond razors come through my hands many times and I have always wrote them off as sold them without giving them a fair shot. Often the new owners are extremely happy with them and later contact me to express their thoughts of the razor they got.

I finally decided to give them another go at the beginning of the year and have been so impressed with them that my main three shavers for the last months have been these three.

    H. Diamond #120, H. Diamond #1000 and H. Diamond #8000

The scales are stunning and the edges that these razors take are second to none. The #1000 and #8000 are full hollows and the #120 is a 3/4
    hollow.

Here is the #120 up close.

And now the #1000 up close.

    And lastly the #8000.

The extra steel from H. Diamond is Swedish steel that is made to levels and purity to resemble Japanese Tamahagane.

Here is the write up that came with the razors.

I can attest to the fact that the Diamond razor I have is extremely smooth and on par with my Filarmonica 13 DT which is my reference for smoothness. Seems that they use Swedish steel for their Diamond razors. As a matter of fact the feel and shave is exactly what I get when I shave with a Heljestrand.

    P.S. YMMV
