    Default Hit few Antique stores........

Hit 2 antique stores today on my way home from work. Actually seen quite a few razors today. I grabbed what I could afford. I spent just under a $100 today and felt I did pretty good. I did not even have to haggle, all the asking prices were fair. All in all it was a good day.

Very nice. Do hold on to that Engels under any circumstances, it is priceless.

Really? Its in mint condition. It still has all the blue on the tang. Maybe unused. Can you tell me any more about the Engles?

I doubt that it is in "mint" condition ("Quit using the word MINT. That word may mean "good" for some other antique, but for razors it means "like brand new". Not almost brand new... but BRAND NEW."), but it certainly is in excellent condition (judging from the picture). And Engels razors are simply very nice. I told you the rest in a PM.

Very nice score! Good shavers, all of them.

Good score! I do like Dubl Ducks, I must admit. Great lookers and great shavers!

That's a very nice score you got there! I got the same Dubl Duck at a shop near me for 5$. It had a lot more wear than yours but it's one of my favorites. It hones very well and takes a great edge.
