Cool ERN - My 1st "worked" spine

I just snagged this baby. Yup, auction! I think it's a nice find. My very first "worked" spine. Not as ornate as the snake I saw on one gents but, it'll do for now.
What do you all think of these ERN's? Mr. Newbie here don't know squat about em. Edify me, please! Anyone jump right in. Thanks!

Sorry for the rotten focus in the pic's. I'm no photographer!

That looks fantastic, nice find - I've have an Ern in my collection and it is an excellent shaver.

Nice razor. You will not be disappointed. I've yet to meet a Solingen razor I didn't like.

That is a GREAT find! Lovely condition, and a good razor. I've an old worked-spine ERN Craftsman razor that I've used almost exclusively the last few weeks... very smooth, comfortable shaves and an excellently balanced razor.

Thanks to all for the "kudos" on my "snag".

Cannot wait to shave with it based on your comments. It's in need of a pyramid on the whet stones first though. I will let you know if it stands up to your praises once it's been honed and stropped.

I have a smiling 6/8 Ern Ator at home that is an awesome shaver. Those ERN edges are very easy to hone up. I wish I could see your pics but Big Brother is breathing here!

You get to shave with this beauty yet, Phil? I agree with Disburden, my ERN is one of the easiest razors I have to hone... it WANTS to be sharp.

Thanks very much to both of you for making me feel great about my "snag".

I have it in Mr. Abrams hands right about now - or maybe tomorrow it'll be there. I just sent IT and a BOKER I just got off "the bay". Those and my Brummel-Werk should be great shavers when I see em next!
