    Default Old with the New

These are pics of an Otto Reuter blade with printed circuit board scales. Still trying to decide if I want to use micro fasteners or peen brass rod for the final stages.

I had a bunch of old motherboards lying around.. along with other printer boards so I removed all the components to get a clean board and then made the scales with the use of a dremel, grinder and files to clean them up. Figure this is a nice way of recycling.

My ocd is doing backflips on the parallerism. Well done, dude.

Not the first time circuit boards have been used, though.

Figured it wasn't.. and after I told SWMBO about my idea she showed me someone selling razors on etsy with circuit board scales. I just figured instead of paying to have the items recycled I would be creative and recycle them myself.

Here is the one I just finished with another motherboard I had stripped. I have about 3 more motherboards to strip and then have a bunch of material to play with when I get more razors with bad scales.
