    Great score,

In my eyes specially those old Sheffields look really nice. What are your plans on restoration? Deep cleaning or just hone & shave?

Very nice haul! Were they local finds? A little cleaning and a good honing and they will be ready for service again. They would also look awesome buffed and polished.

Local find here in Florida. I don't care for the Dubl Ducks but I figured I could pass them along with no problem... The 5 Wade & Butchers and the Elliot will be cleaned up, honed, and used as is. When I first handled them I envisioned having them tumbled, buffed, and polished to a mirror finish with new black horn scales and contrasting ivory/cream wedges. Now, I decided to keep them as is.

Yes. It was a fortunate find. $110 US Dollars for the 8. I am slated to go back and sort through a couple hundred more soon. I'm enjoying them already for sure!

Good move Mike. They have more character if left original. Exceptions being it the scales are cracked at the pivot or broken in between. Those look real nice as is.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Could you be a little more specific?
