Thanked: 0SRD 18K
Hi All,
Thought I would share todays snag from a local online classified. Its an SRD 18K, in great shape by my untrained eye. Its not actual 18k gold on it, is it?
Enjoy!

nice razor. gold plating is cheap so it's possible that it's 18k gold on the surface of the bolsters, but they most certainly aren't solid gold.

Thanked: 0I asked about the bolsters being gold, or gold plated, because the seller pushed it as being gold, but I have my doubts....my "Ebay radar" is always going when it comes to people selling things, even though this didn't come from ebay, and I bought it in person. Claims like that usually result in a reply from me such as "ya, right"!
The razor itself doesn't have a mark on it, almost looks NOS!
As for how it shaves, you'll have to wait until I learn how to use it first!

Thanked: 4942Go easy with the spike as you learn. This razor should hone up very well and is usually one of the better shavers available.
Very nice!

Thanked: 0The seller said its shave ready, honed and stropped, and the blade looks perfect, so we'll see. I got a nice round point from the classifieds to learn with. This looked like such a beauty, it was hard to pass up!
