Thanked: 3My first toy
Should have went for a cheaper one the first try... Came very sharp which is why I had to tell people my cat scratched my face...great quality & craftsmanship. A bit scared to hone it, don't want to mess up the blade or the engravings Wacker Feinster Hohlschliff hand crafted.

Thanked: 1903Nice Wacker. If you really intend to hone it (I certainly wouldn't), don't forget to tape the spine to protect the goldwash.

Thanked: 3Thanks I'll go buy a cheap str8 until I get better at this. I won't hone it since no stone/strope

Beautiful razor!
Stropping is different. It aligns the edge rather than removing material. You will need to strop it before each use & many of us do a few laps after to ensure the edge is fully dry. Get one as soon as you can or your shaves will deteriorate rather than improve.

Thanked: 2259They say you never forget your first... I never did, but that's a story for another day, and maybe another forum... But, I digress.
Beautiful razor! And most unforgettable!
