    Default Right place Right time

I have been reading with much envy of the guys that walk into an antique stor just at the right time and walk out with some unbelievable loot at a great price.

Well, this weekend that guy was me. Here is the cache I got for $275.00, which included a Solingen 7 day set that had never been used, and a Dubl Duck Satin Wedge I got for $5.00, and a Rolls Razor that is in mint condition. I was going to pass on the Duble Duck Satin Wedge because the blade was badly rusted, but I thought what the heck, for $5.00, I will see if I can clean it. Man am I glad I did.

I got 16 razors in all.

In this group of pics, there is:

3 pics of the 7 day set
    Wade & Butcher King Shaver
    Old Wade & Butcher wedge
    Schasiepen
    Boker King Cutter
Dubl Duck Satin Wedge (after initial sanding and scale cleaning)

The seven day set is beautiful. Great score is right.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Great score indeed

However I fear that one rusty one shows classic signs of cell rot, someome correct me if I'm wrong. I'd keep that one away from the others for the time being.
