Default Today made up for Friday

Today sort of made up for a terrible day antiquing on friday. They aren't the greatest finds I know, but I needed something. Today I got a Geneva with a broken scale about 6/8. The blade has no pitting, but the tang does. It came in a celluloid toothbrush holder (she thought she had something unique). Got it for $20.
I also got a Gillette DE in a leather case stamped western Germany. The paper was still in the head and the blades are still wrapped in plastic. Got it for $7
Any info on either would be great.

As you may know, Genevas (Gencos) are great shavers.

The first razor I ever renovated was a Geneva Pyramid #7.

It cleaned up nice, took a super edge, and still is one of my best shavers.

Hopefully, that scratch (if it is a scratch - just might be the lighting) running near the edge on the back of the blade won't be a problem. If it's just cosmetic, then it should turn out well.

I don't know much about the DE but it looks neat!

    Enjoy your prizes!

No deep scratches. The line full length is light from cellphone flash, the black line is from where the loose pinched scales rubbed on the blade causing them to rub off. I think metal polish will take them out. I'm in an internal debate as pertaining to scale material. I own many varieties of wood, but I've spent 2 hours working just on that decision.
