6/8 Top Flight
This would be my first ten dollar Flea Bay special. I did have to clean a lot of brown junk off the scales and blade with some lapping compound. The pins needed tightened quite badly as well. But, the bluing was in decent shape and the scales are fairly uniform in color, instead of the initially mottled appearance. The honing did not take long at all...now for the shave test.

Thanked: 1371That looks like a nice find for $10. Hopefully it shaves well for you.

The test results are in. She is smooth, very smooth. I would put it up there with the Satinedge I have. The shave was one of those squeegee the whiskers types with absolutely no effort on my part. I should enjoy this one for a long while.

Looks nice, and as most of the old American razors, it is probably a good shaver too.
Good find.
