Spike point Wostenholm~ Been through the wars
Double edged Wostenholm spike point of the third Fairbairn-Sykes pattern.

The Fairbairn-Sykes is WWII British fighting knife often refered to as a commando dagger. This example is a late war (or post war) variation with probably no collector's value unless you're willing to believe it was carried by David Sterling on his secret mission to kill Rommel and was later given to Cmdr Ian Fleming.
At least we know what Wostenholm did during the war...

It wasn’t me. I went to high school in different town in a different decade.
But I remember Bel Air in the 60s. When Tollgate Road ran by diary farms instead of condos…

I really like the handle and hilt of the first model. Never would spring for the $ it would take to bring one home though. Neat collectible you have there.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
