Thread: Curses...foiled again

So I woke up this morning in the best of moods. I skipped my morning shave today because arriving sometime this afternoon is my Alex Jacques custom. I wanted to have a good two days stubble for a new test shave.
Off to work, a busy 9-7 shift at the barber shop. With every cut I did, it was 20 min closer to quitting time. I had it all planned. Quick shower. nice hot steam, thater 28 mm silver tip, mama bear's bay rum soap, that big dirtybird scuttle and my new custom razor. The day was moving smoothly and how appropriate my final service of the day was a straight shave on a customer visiting the U.S. from Scottland. His shave went perfect....not a spot of blood and BBS to boot. It was his first Straight shave and he loved it.
The day was over. Hoped in my whip and headed home with thoughts of cleaning this dirt off my face with a nice big 8/8 custom from A.Jacques. Its my first Damascus razor so Im very excited about tonight's date we have. I pulled into the driveway. Jumped out of my ride and quickly made my way to the front door. The whole time scanning the porch for a pacage from SRD. Hmmm. Nothing in the mailbox. Nothing on the swing. "Well sometimes he leaves packages between the screen door and front door" I told myself. I reached for the handle and there it was, mocking me like a red headed bully on the playground. A slip from USPS "sorry you missed your delivery, you may pick it up after 8am the next morning." I can feel my blood boil. Every other time they leave the package regardless if anyone is home or not.....breathe. count to 10. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Well look at it this way. It's almost 8 am already and you'll be able to pick it up soon

wow, that's rough! my tickets usually say after 5pm the same day, unless it's friday.(really meant saturday)

I hate days like that

I long for the day when I can get my mits on a custom... but I have to stop buying stuff and save the pennies

When ever I buy something over the internet I'm lucky because there is always someone at home. That happens when you have twelve people living in one house. The anoying thing for me is that every day I come home I don't find my package, but my wife's package. It's so frustrating when other people get their toys but you have to wait for yours.
