It has one peice wood scales that are broken at the end (Will need to replace) appears to be between a 4/8 and 5/8 blade is in great shape. First picture shows what is looks like..missing decorative end peice - second shows where the scales are broken. I believe the scales aremade of Olive wood.

If your going to toss the scales... toss em my way

They seem to be fixable, if you didn't mind putting the time into em.

Thanks, the only real problem that I have is finding the metal bolsters for the heal of the scales. I have glued the wood back together and it seems to be holding quite well the blade is square in the scales and tight. Any help with the metal bolsters would be nice.

Agreed. From the picture, they only seem to need re-pinning and a lot of TLC. Is there any breakage that is not evident?

None...the blade has a lot of hone wear but other than that it is in fine shape, and yes it needs alot of TLC. Anyone with knowedge as to where to fine replacement parts? I will problably need pins and the metal parts on the scales. I did alittle cleaning on it last night and the wood looks to be in great shape the the scales are straight.

Regarding pins and washers, you can find that stuff in the Wiki. Basically, you can find washers from microfasteners if you need brass. If you need small silver (stainless steel) washers, then I can't help you because I've not found any yet. You can find 1/16 brass or nickel silver rods from many sources such as knife parts suppliers or even hardware stores. K&S engineering is a supplier for these rods. Regarding the metal parts, the outer ones are called bolsters. You'd have to have them custom made or preferably re-use what's there. The wedge also should be re-useable.

Aesthetically, I'd suggest that you leave the blade and scales as close to original as possible.

Edit: There are some people who sell pinning sets, consisting of pins and washers, for single razors. Even some eBay sellers offer them.

Thank you for the valuable information...as stated the scales are onepiece Olive wood, after cleanning on them alittle last night they look to be in good enough shape to keep, I glued them back together and with alittle sanding should be ok. The bolsters I may wait until I find another SR that has them but may have a broken blade or something else wrong with it and remove them for this one. I am thinking of staying with brass as that is whats on it already. This is my first SR project by the way...and having alot of fun with it.
    Thanks again,
    Mack

PS. I will try to get better pictures this weekend....
