That Special sure is sharp isn't it I got a 6/8 Special back in May and it's still pretty darned sharp...I've only been to the pasted strop once since I purchased it. Lynn sure knows his stuff when it comes to those Dovos.

You got that right. So how would you hold the razor? is their a right way?

I think you should check here for that answer:

I personally use "grip 1" on all my WTG and "grip 3" on all my XTG. I do not do an ATG pass so those grips would not apply.
I would say to start with the basic "grip 1" and then practice/experiment and see what is comfortable for you.
