First DE Buy
I've been thinking about getting myself a DE for when I just don't have the time to do a full straight shave for a while now. Popped on Ebay and saw this sucker here with a couple minutes left. So I made a bid and it won by a whole penny! Woo! $13.02 + $3.95 was the final price tag. Let me know what you think:
Schick Krona DE
I know there's just one picture and that may be a little risky, but honestly I fell in love with the geometry and the name (Krona just screams power), so I feel pretty good about it.

Thanked: 66It looks nice but make sure you sanitize it...I used a Gillette gold tech ball/ a single edge (comparable to a str8 without buying one)/and I have 3 various str8 razors which I use now and saving my de/se for my kids to learn someday...which after a few years I would highly suggest trying a nice str8 razor...later on though..I also have 5 tube cremes and 1 soap with a shave scuttle (keeps your lather warm)..this is my stuff after 2yrs..just a nice visual for ye!
Good luck n happy shavings!

First DE Buy
Hello, bknesal:
That looks like a good one. Congratulations. Those are good razors, and they, like double edge razors in general, come in handy when not enough time is available for the straight. Well done, sir.
Regards,
Obie

Yep, I mailed that out yesterday. I put a couple blades in to try.....a Feather and a Shark stainless steel.
Hope you enjoy the new addition to your shaving arsenal,
Martin
