Big Palmera
Hi there
Have not had a "new" razor for a while, I have just received this big one, 2.7 centimeters blade, which I guess is slightly over 8/8 (do not think box belongs to this one, looks "too new", probably cardboard printout...)
Now I need to get me a Naniwa 1000 or borrow one from a friend to put this beauty back in good shape

Sweet sweet find!
If the blade is NOS or the edge is in good shape, you may not even need the 1k.

Thanks guys, let's see if I heve the time during the weekend to hone it. And sorry for the absence, I have been working too much, and also focusing more on Spanish Forums (although this is still the reference for straight razors, no doubt about that!)
Saludos

Hate to use an overused expression, but the only word for your massive Palmera is "awesome". It does look NOS. I envy you the experience of honing and shaving with your "new" razor. Steel of that quality is no longer made, unfortunately. Bet it "sings" for you. Congratulations.

Thanks for all comments, just made a few pictures after a very light polishing of the blade, which will definetely need a proper bevel, now awaiting delivery of a Naniwa 1000 to start...
And a comparative pic with a 7/8 Friodur, so you get an idea...
