Thanked: 2209Those are some nice razors!
Finding out the year each was manufactured will be next to impossible. It seems that the bombing during WWII destroyed most of the records that your looking for. Hopefully some info exists but I think it will be sparse.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Thanked: 3795I suspect that you might have already gotten ahead of yourself.
If you are interested in using any of these razors, then you've come to the right place. In general when posts like this arise, they are simply a means of gathering information for eBay. That's probably one of the reasons why appraisals are not done here except by private messages.
Those of us who are passionate about these razors are interested in more than just their monetary value, though that certainly can be a part of it for many of us. We actually restore, maintain, preserve, and most importantly USE these razors.
Do you have any interest in using any of these razors?

Thanked: 0Well the reason why I am here is because my father gave me these to see what i can do with them. He has stage 4 liver cancer and everyday it's something new with him. Today it's straight razors last week it was some rare old coins. I don't know my parents financial situation nor do I ask. I know chemo is not cheap. I donno if hes using the money for chemo or just everyday living. I have no idea what to do with these razors and I thought I could find some guidance here. He's been giving me the stuff because I am a collector and he knows I'm good with the internet so out of all the siblings he believes I have the best chance to figure out what to do with them. I'm just trying to help him out. Looking at your emoticons I feel like this now LOL so I'm gonna let it up to you gentlemen. Trust me if you are willing to help out it it's more then appreciated.

Well, here's my idea, and you take take it for what it's worth...
If you're looking to get rid of the razors instead of keeping them as heirlooms or for shaving, choose someone from the classifieds section that you can ship them all to and they can do any restoration work that needs to be done, hone them up so that they're ready to go and then sell them for you on the classifieds. They might do it on a per diem basis and you'll surely get more from the sales here than on ebay since they'll be restored. You get more, the restorer gets some from the resto work.
