Beautiful! you did a great job spiffing it up. Nice looking point on the blade too, but be careful around your ears. Something I do to clean under the tang, besides flossing, is to try and slip a little piece of 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper between the tang and scales, and saw it gently back and forth, rough side down. Gets stubborn stains off the tang, mostly. Sometimes the fit is too close for that to work.
