Thread: Ebay had to buy.

Even though I'm a currently still very new to straight razors, i was just hunting on ebay for a nice cheap straight razor, as I'm in Australia, i don't think there's a large following or collectors of straight razors here.

There was 5 nice straight razors for sale;

1. Near mint Blue Wonder made in Germany.
2. A good condition Gotta Razor re-handled Made in England.
3. Near mint SHAVEESI made in England.
4. Near mint Invitca Coronet made England.
5. And a KUKRI That i won, made in Germany.

All in very good condition, and all went for cheap, they varied from $50 dollars to $112.

The KUKRI razor i got is very nice, good condition blade, a nice handle, not sure what the material is, looks like a clear orange-red color like bourbon or whiskey.

On the tang says: KUKRI Garantie-Solingen, and has a very nice pattern on the spine, i think its an excellent buy for $50 dollars, plus $4.50 postage.

I'll make sure to take some pictures when i get it, not sure i should show his pictures.

Yeh they were all very nice, bad luck you couldn't get any i really liked the Invicta, would of snapped both of them up, but yeh i'm also a bit poor after buying my new laptop lol.

Not just yet its in the post, should be here by thursday or friday, ill get some quick snaps on my phone when it gets here then ill get some good shots on my SLR when i get it back.

Here are just a few snaps to give you an idea, this blade actually came to me very sharp, all it needs is a good strop i think, still shaves hair off arm, but wont pop a hanging hair.

Nice spine work!

I saw that on eBay but I had too many bids in on other razors to be tempted. I think you got a good buy.

Yeah for the money, i can't complain, the other razors that were on sale went for very reasonable prices too.

But i chose to get this one as it had the spine pattern which caught my eye, something different, even if its not good for shaving its a nice show peice.
