When I look at all of these beautiful razors you have, I can hear my wife's voice in my head asking me why I need so many razors for only one face. LOL
I've always thought that was a very good looking razor. Did you restore them or were you lucky enough to find all in good condition?

If you are purchasing razors just to shave with I agree with your wife. In our case we are 'collecting' razors and also shaving with then. Most of the razors pictured are New Old Stock and a few have not been honed yet. One Caddie, a few Blackies, the Wedge and the Perfectos were purchased used. The used razors did not have any restoration work done on then except for a cleaning and maybe a polishing.
I started collecting straight razors about 20 years ago with my first purchase being a lot of 5 razors. The collection stayed at that number of razors until a few years ago when I found SRP and learned to sharpen, maintain and use them. The rest is a blurr. Just kidding. All three of us enjoy the hunt and the restoration when needed.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Naturally, I had to test out one of the Caddy's this weekend (since I'd already tested the hugantic Blackie). I have to say, the Caddy was a sweet shaver. Thanks for the spin, Joe.
