    Default Recent Henckels score

    This is part of the goodies I found at the local barber shop. A Henckels #1 in black scales( 5/8"), a #16 also in black(4/8"), a #402 dry hone razor for barbers only, in tortise(4/8") and an Alcosa#413 also in tortise (9/16"). All had been stored well and appear to be little used, if at all. I don't know if the box is original to any of the razors, but they fit quite nicely. Will probably send these out to a pro for honing so I can judge them at their best.

    What a find! All look near mint and all are notoriously great shavers. And you got a nice display case too. Well done. The edges look great-shouldn't take much honing to bring them up to shave ready.

    Congrats on a really nice score. I'm not familiar with the other two razors but I know the Henckels will shave well. All look like they are in really good condition.

    Thanks for the comments, I'll take another batch of pictures this weekend and show you some more of this haul. It turned out to be an expensive haircut!
