My RAD list
I have purchased a bunch of razors since just last month when I started with a Thiers Issard (new)
I then found SRP, and learned that you can restore old blades yourself. Since then I bought:
Tonsorial GEM
George Wostenholm Pipe Razor
HMC Cutlery "Whaling City" (My regular shaver right now, the TI is enroute to a honemeister)
Frederick Reynolds
Gillette Slim DE Adjustable SAfety razorJoseph Rogers Barbers Notch
Ducharme
Dubl Duck Special No 1
The Old English Razor (No makers Marks or name)
Special Quality
A Franz Swaty hone
GEM Micromatic Single Edge
Wade and Butcher with Wood Handle
JA Henckels
a Germany "royal"
Holly Mfg.
Genco
Keen Kutter
Geneva Cutlery
AA Marks
and a Friend has given me a 'Ben Hur' 107 by ML Brandy
Oh, and I just ordered a DOVO from SRD and a coupla waterstones.
So that is 21 blades.....yikes! I haven't counted them up before. I'd hate to add up the prices!
Actually I have paid anywhere from $6 to $30 for most of the razors. Some are real nice, for like $25. Others need alot of TLC.
So I guess you could say I got it bad.....I am trying to curb my buying for now, until I get these restored and scaled.....
