    I have owned 2 razors marked "The Prince's Own". Neither one would hone up to an edge acceptable to my standards. I think the steel was inferior in both. Just an opinion.

    Mine looks like a wedge possibly. Were yours wedges?

    No, they were hollow ground. Just would not take a good edge no matter what stone or honing technique I tried.
