Yeah, I bought this, what about it?
Of course it's ruined ...., but I've got a a really fierce-looking blade that needs some really distinctive scales. Now, to unpin this without making a mess of it.

not bad. i bought a dubl duck just for the scales today. not as fancy as your but will do what blade will you be using them on? got pics?

Aww no, a little breadknifing on the sidewalk'll do the trick.
However I'd reccommend starting at the toe and working back to the heel as opposed to the more "conventional" method

That blade also looks like it could be fashioned into a bottle opener. Only a real man would crack open a cold brew with a straight razor!

My thoughts exactly! Though, to be fair, using the heel or toe of any straight razor pried up against the edge of the cap would probably do the trick, unless it was a really heavily rounded heel or toe (very similar to the lighter trick used to open up bottles). It would scratch the hell out of the blade and make for several hours of sandpapering fun, but it would all be worth it!
