Thread: Custom leather case

I just got this case from Knot your leather. It is a site run by the wife of ENUF2 here on the SRP. I first saw the cases on the SRP facebook site and inquired about them. I was given Chris' email right off the bat so that I could communicate directly about what custom arrangements I want.

The only parameters I gave was a rough drawing of the combined initials in my name and I said that I wanted it to look a little rough. I was thinking what a razor case might have looked like if it were made by a saddlemaker in the old west.

I believe it was pulled off perfectly. The look is even better than what I imagined and even better than the photo. What also amazed me was the low cost and little time it took to do it. I don't remember exactly how long it took to finish, but after I got done floundering over styles and coloring she was quick to respond. She was even patient with my indecisiveness.

Maybe if I come across something better than a mobile camera I'll do it more justice, but in the mean time this is what I have.

That looks like a great leather case. Interesting that you went with leather as opposed to a soft case material.

The leather was customizable therefore I could make it mine. It also retained the look I like, with the ability to go from classy to rustic she could make the case to match the look I wanted for that razor. The case offered a level of protection not available in many cloth cases. I am supporting SRP members (nuff said). Leather has been used by many str8 users and manufacturers before this therefore has a proven track record.

Did I mention that I think they look cool?
