Thread: WHAT IS THIS?

What exactly do I have here,the markings are a little tough to read
but I think it says "G Frisor,Weld Germany
Highest quality,and on other side a 68 and ERN,anybody?? It has little wear on the spines so I wonder if it was this thin when new. I'm pretty sure its going on E-bay so if anyone here likes it send me a personal message and you can have if for what I payed. The scales are perfect but the blade swings out easily. I doubt that this is it real name but I got close enough that maybe someone can recognise the real name.

Ern is a well known manufacturer of straight razors, and they have a nice reputation as well. Do a search on these forums for ern, and you will find much information. It just might be a keeper

Edit: I tried searching here on the forums but it seems the word is too short for any results. If you google "ern straight razor" the 4 first results are all from SPR, followed by some from other wetshaving communities.
