Default I did found a Filarmonica for 5€. Can some one give me more info?

    Hello!

I did drop by the local flee market yesterday and did find this piece in a pile of rusty razors. He wanted 15€. I told him that I am Swedish not stupid and offered 5€ because I liked the box.
    It was a deal.

I haven't done anything with it. What can you tell my about it?
I am new to this things so I will be happy for all info.

Looks like you latched onto a Filarmonica #14 Doble Temple

Very little hone wear showing, just a tiny bit of cosmetic issues on the blade face...
Many believe these to be some of the finest "Shaving" razors out there..
They tend to be very easy to hone, take a smooth keen edge, and hold the edge better then most...

You got a darn good buy it sounds like...

Yeah, I'd be willing to give you 15€, and you can even keep the box!

Nice and worth sending out for polishing up and honing if you're not expert in that yourself. If it were mine I would use metal polish to get off what I could and just hone it up and use it as is. Anyway, you did very well and they are quite good shavers.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Thumbs up

Wowww...very nice score . A Filarmonica 14 Doble Temple with virtually little hone wear. Have it polished, cleaned up and shave ready and you have on your hands a very cherished blade. Excellent shavers

I would say you ripped that vendor off and should feel guilty. In fact, to assuage your guilt you should sell it to me for 10, and I will accept the bad Karma that is bound to come your way for stealing an unknowing salesperson.
    Nice catch...

You have been really lucky. That's great find. Just use some metal polish and hone it. It will be a great shaver.
