Almost Threw This One Away!
I amost tossed this one.Its a 6/8 #13 Filarmonica.I woke this morning on a mission to try and save it.Boy am I glad I didnt toss it.It was covered with rust and had pitting.You can see some minut remnants of pitting in some of the pics.Scales were trash.It had a crack one the blade, about a 1/2" from the heel.I rolled up my sleeves and this is the end product.I dremeled ground out the heel and modified the toe end a bit.I hand sanded from 320 grit to 1000 grit then CR oxide mixed with Mothers on newspaper,and then a quick felt wheel polish.Scales it with some doner scales.Honed her up and gave her a whirl.Great shaver as are all phillies.

Great save! almost looks like one of the folding eastern style razors.
