8/8 Solingen Crosses

Measures a hair under 8/8 - The photo doesn't do the scales justice. They are almost 3D in effect. Seller on eBay said shave ready, but my microscope says otherwise. Going to hone it up over the weekend and think it will make for a good sunday shave.

I've got to play with one of those, and it was a really nice shaver. I'm taking a guess about who you got it from, and I'll bet it's NOS.

I'm really happy with the price I paid. The seller had a number of beautiful razors for sale and I lost out on a bid for a nice Revisor as well.

There is a very small amount of hone wear on the spine, so I think it may have been honed once. Regardless, I enjoy honing and will probably use one layer of tape to protect the spine from any further wear. Just trying to determine which finisher I'll use to put the final edge on.

I have the same 8/8. Mine was said to be shave ready as well, it sure shaves nice after I touched it up
