Default Tomorrow is the Antique Show at a local fair grounds

Is this type of deal that usually produces a good hunting ground? I'm not sure if what to expect...I already have it stuck in my head that if there are straights...they will be really cheap or really expense.

Oh well...hope they have some razors! the hunt is on!

It's always a crap shoot. You just have to take your chances and hope that you can find some cheap ones!

I am sending you good mojo for your hunt.
I have yet to find any good pieces when I go out. Hopefully you will have better luck.

It depends on what they think will sell. The owners of each stall/antique store will bring along what they think will sell, get the best price, or make their shop look the best. I went to one of these in Australia a few years ago and most of the stuff was china tea sets. But the last year I went I scored a coticule.
You could find nothing but junk, but you could also stumble across that one thing you are looking for at a great price.

    Guys! I did sooooooooooooooo good.

I got a 7 day set of solingen blades in excellent condition. The tangs are gold washed. Decorated gold spine with each day of the week clearly labeled. The blades are highly decorated (picture of an old man with a beard on each side of Solingen). Blonde scales that say Solingen. The maker is Friedelko. On the tang it also has Haan-Solingen. They came in their original box. I can't post pics, but I could email pics to someone if they would like to take a peek.

I also got a JR Torrey with a MOP tang. The spine is decorated. The blade says Full Double Concave in gold wash. The scales are really cool. I'm not sure what the material is but it is not a plastic. It says PATENTED AUGUST1 1905 on the scales. The scales also have a "lip" that goes up to the spine of the blade.

Also got a Wostenholm's Hollow ground with barbers notch that is in good condition as well.

I also got another blade that is poor condition. That one was thrown in with the rest.
