    Default Etched Geneva

I picked up this 5/8 etched Geneva from LarryAndro a couple of months back. As a former Texican, I couldn't resist the cowboy roping the steer in the etch, and the etch itself is in great shape--almost all the enamel still intact. And she delivers a great shave to boot. Any other etched Genevas out there? Let's see 'em!

There was one up on E-bay recently that had a neat gold-wash design, something with a camel and wording about the steel, but condition was not great. It still may be up on there.

I did see one a while back that had etching AND a covered tang, but lost track of it. Definitely don't see too many of the fancy ones.

    Very nice score!

Excellent score ...I love the etching on the blade. Looks like you may need to do a bit of cleanup and honing on the edge, but should be a great shaver

    Nice find

Actually, what looks like a messed-up edge is just my bad photography--it's a shadow or reflection. I shaved with her this morning, and had a great shave.

My humble apologies...It is a looker nonetheless . Enjoy it

Very cool. I think that may be the first etched Geneva I've ever seen. And a beauty at that.

Yeah, I don't think there are many of them out there. Larry said it was one of a very few he'd ever seen, and I think a LOT of razors pass through his hands.
