Masonic Wedge
Hey fellas, I just picked up this razor. It's a near wedge, just over 8/8 at the toe; it has horn scales, a lead wedge, and masonic etchings on the blade. I just have a few questions: I'm assuming it was made in Sheffield, any guesses on an age? The scales are in great condition, except each scale is cracked at the wedge pin (as pictured), are they salvageable? Has anyone heard of this maker ( J. Johnson)? Thanks for looking, and sorry for the crappy pics. I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Thanked: 240I can't load the pics on my phone but I believe joed is getting a similar Masonic blade by W&B rescaled with some amazing scales by shutterbug others will answer with more knowledge but it seems like a pretty special blade.

Follow JimmyHAD's routine/suggestion and you should be able to upload the picts no problem.
