    Default Masonic Wedge

Hey fellas, I just picked up this razor. It's a near wedge, just over 8/8 at the toe; it has horn scales, a lead wedge, and masonic etchings on the blade. I just have a few questions: I'm assuming it was made in Sheffield, any guesses on an age? The scales are in great condition, except each scale is cracked at the wedge pin (as pictured), are they salvageable? Has anyone heard of this maker ( J. Johnson)? Thanks for looking, and sorry for the crappy pics. I look forward to hearing from you guys.

I can't load the pics on my phone but I believe joed is getting a similar Masonic blade by W&B rescaled with some amazing scales by shutterbug others will answer with more knowledge but it seems like a pretty special blade.

Did I upload the pics incorrectly, or you just can't view them on your device? I can see them on my computer, so hopefully I did it right.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The only way that I can get them to post is if they are that small. Sorry. I don't get it, because I've seen people upload pics that take up the entire screen, guess I'm just computer inept.

Load the photos into your hard drive. Scroll down below the text box when you are posting and you will see 'manage attachments'. Click on that and a window will come up. Click 'browse' and your files will be displayed. Select the directory in which you photos are located.

Select the photo and then click 'open' in the lower right hand corner. If you have more than one you'll have to click browse and open for each individual photo. Scroll to the right and you'll see 'upload', click on that and your photos will display when you hit the 'reply' button. You can hit preview to double check.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That's what I'm doing, I just have to shrink them down to 40% their original size in order for them to upload.

Pics are too small for my eye to see but here is a pic of the W&B Shutterbug is rescaling for me.
