eBay! Auction was listed for 5 days and the bids were fairly low. In that last few hours I put in my max bid and won it. What amazed me was no one used a snipe prog, I thought for sure I was going to be outbid in the last few seconds. Guess I was wrong.

This Ern will compliment my other one very nicely. I love Ern razors.

I really dig have to do a double take on this one. Most Ern's I've seen are plain-Jane except this one. Once I got it, I carefully looked it over trying to find a flaw that would indicate someone plated it just to raise the price. I can't find any. This is certainly real.

Beautiful! I think this is what my ERN 3160 would have looked like at one time Mine has black scales with just the Crown and Sword logo and the gold is gone. Did you have to clean it up much or did it ship to you that way? Mine has a few black spots on the etching and I'm afraid it might fade it if I do too much more.

Man that is .....right......way.....so... okay I'm speechless. I have a 7/8 ERN I am working on and no matter what I do it will not look like that.
I hate working around etch by the way and I will never get another one that needs work. Ever.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I purchased the razor in this condition. There was no cleaning required. I have another that still has the MOP tang intact with worked spine.

You must have bought on eBay on a weekend. I've gotten a number of items where I thought I'd be outbid at the last minute and wasn't. And they were all bought anywhere from a Friday night to a late Sunday afternoon. I think bidding is a game for some people and they do it out of boredom during the week and find something else to be doing on the weekends. A beautiful razor by the way even though I'm in the minority of 4/8 lovers/users.
