    Default Kropp

One of a few early Christmas pressies..

This one is a Kropp (my 9th so far) made and ground in Sheffield and is my widest one to date at 7/8".

Here's some pics before I clean it up a bit.

Those Kropp are such nice razors. I presume you partly have so many Kropp razors because of it. Can't wait to see the razor once cleaned up. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers Max, my very first straight was a Kropp and I also have a nice seven day set (which accounts for the numbers lol)

Many years ago - late 1960's Gun Digest published an article about a one of these razors that was used as a community razor in a mining camp in South America for over 50 yearrs.

As I remember the entire group of workers at this camp all shaved every Saturday before going out on the town.

The author of the article sent the razor to a lab to have the metal checked out and gave an anaisys of the metal.

Anyone out there have an old collection of Gund Digest might want to look up the artice and show it here.
