Thiers-Issard Historic 6/8 Snakewood
An early Christmas present for myself, a Thiers-Issard "La Mouette" Snakewood 6/8 Historic Straight from Jorunn at Fitjarsoaps.no. Also got a new strop from SRD, Black Latigo, seems like fantastic quality to me. The razor was actually shave ready from the factory, just stropped it, and now it does the hanging hair test with a little "ping", almost like a St. Dupont Ligne 2 lighter

great razor I have the exact same one with Spartacus logo and Ebony scales.
Its one of my favorites and TI is my favorite razor brand.
I have the old version too with thumb notch but prefer this newer straight tang one. I find it a lot easier to manuever with the shorter blade.

I got those exact scales on a TI spartacus 7/8 full hollow.
It sure is a looker and a top end razor.
Love the spine on yours.
