    Default Case MOP Eisenhower

I have long been debating a new pocket knife to rotate with the spyderco cricket that I have carried for years.

I wanted something that would not weigh down my pocket and also something that I might see my grandfather pull out of his pocket. Case and Boker and other makers all have similar styles but I wanted to go with Case.

Finally I found something that I really liked.

Case Eisenhower pocket knife in mother of pearl.

It is only 3" 1/8 long (closed) and should be a nice light weight in my pocket.

I also couldn't resist getting a second knife (AD's and all) and added a Case 'Doctor' to the order.

I definitely like smaller/light weight pocket knives. I carry an old sabre pocket knife that is very similar (much older, not as sleek).

Both are awesome. Aren't they produced in the States too?

    Default wow

I would not carry that knife with me, I dirty my knives to much to take a showpiece with me, my pocket knife has gutted 3 or 4 deer, a few rabbits, cut many saplines to a point for trapping purposes, cut thousands of boxes open and to much other stuff to mention. they are verry pretty but only as a show piece in my mind.

    Default Why not carry it?

No I wouldnt carry it to go hunting-Its not a hunting knife, however, going around on a regular day thats the perfect knife to have in case a thread or something like that needs attention IMHO. Its too pretty to sit in the box for most of its life, also it isnt threatining, and you could use it without people freaking out.And That would be a good thing as most folks get jumpy if you say you carry a knife with you most of the time in todays politically correct theame, and it would be a good thing for people to see that all of us who carry a pocket knife arent crazy. Also if you dont want to mess it up, try and get two......how you rationilize it is up to you, I know I would,I have two sons.

I found it!!! I'm very happy. Naturally, I just purchased it's replacement the other day. Oh well, I'm sure you guys know and understand that you can't have enough quality tools.
