Default Under the Radar John Barber

I'm fortunate to say I snagged my third John Barber in the month of December. This one was in a group of 3 blades on eBay and for $19.02 plus shipping, I can afford to have a bit of restoration done on it. It is the bottom razor of the three pictured. The other two being a Rodgers and a German Clausberg.

The Barber sans scales is the one I picked up most recently on ebay... The homemade wooden scales fell apart in my hands during initial clean up of the blade. I saved them but they are not salvageable for future use I'd say.

I picture the newest Barber alongside it's "twin" that I snagged of ebay UK a week or two prior. The scales on that one are quite beautiful but broken. I had thought of a repair job on them until I got the "twins" side by side and thought that both rescaled in a proper manner might just make a very distinguished "Barber Gentleman's Set"

Let me know which way you go on the scales, Mike. Can't wait to see them.

I have a JB that needs scales, too, so maybe it'll give me some ideas.
