    Default JUST PLAIN COOL

[B][I][FONT=Fixedsys]The first razor is a Bartmann which I had to have as a fan of the simpsons, and I thought at first it might be rare, but afrer checking the wiki ,I found out its a well known brand. In the older posts I read someone said they liked the shave it gave and said it was because of the special steele alloy they used,I dont know anything about that but its a great shaver. The second razor is a HAMA and the story that came with it was worth half the price,as it was a doozy. The tale goes that the guy who was selling a truly magnificent collection of unused pre-war razors had belonged to his grandfather and now he had them. Some of you might have seen them on e-bay as he had many Globsman that were vrey ornate and went for serious money ($400-$500),and breaking up this collection really was a shame, maybe he needed the money,However I got the HAMA and the pictures dont do it justice.I believe that grandad used this one or at least sharpened it as it has a very good edge on it,but looks unused.
The Bartmann shaves like a dream and I havent used the HAMA yet,but here they are ,submitted for your approvel...

Quite nice, but I have to say the font/format you used for your post is impossible to read.

Yes. Quite nice! As for the font, it is no problem at all to read.

Default I just found a Bartmann too!

I just found a Bartmann razor and it is amazing. It shaves as good as any razor I have tried, including Puma, C-Mon,Double Duck, Filarmonica -- you name it, it will match it or beat it!

    Default I Know

Stubblebuster-I know what you mean,I have some of the razors you just mentioned and found out the same thing, but I dont have a Filly or a DD,
but Ill add my Boker and Henkels, among others, and it holds its own. I funny thing though is that your the second person to get one recently, and before I found mine a few months ago I had never heard of them, but they seem to be a well known name, enjoy it in good health

I really like those complex green Hama scales-I have a very similar set on a different razor brand. Bartmann's are near the head of my list of great shavers, also. Nice finds!
