I sent John one of my new in package DD GE's and he made me wonderful scales with sapphires as the third pin. Thanks again Shutterbug it is exactly what I wanted

That's some fantastic work, as always, from John! The gold leaf (? - whatever you call it) is a nice touch.

Beyond the realm of fancy replacement scales, that is museum quality fine art AFAIC.
