    Default Pressed Horn Warranted Oldie

Here is a very old razor with extra fine root beer colored pressed horn scales I snagged at a familiar haunt where I have purchased several razors before. I am attempting to trade it for a John Barber so it might not stay in my shave den very long at all. The blade itself has just the traces of the word Warranted on the tang stamp. the beauty is really in the scales and it has decorative pinning/washer collars. I have also considered using the scales with another blade but I feel I do not have the skills to pull that off myself without the fear of damaging what appears to be pressed horn in very nice current condition.

That is a beauty Mike and if I had it I wouldn't trade it. The pressed horn is a hot item on the bay BTW. I also wouldn't separate it from the original blade. Different strokes.

Orther than clean the blade and hone, I wouldnt mess with it. Please leave it in its original format, this is what makes it beautiful, IMO.

Nice score. I love the look and vibe of those scales.
