    Cool New Strop

Received this strop from and made by our member Legion (David) a couple of days ago and wanted to share how impressed I am with it. Love the single
maple handle for grip, very comfortable. The strops (two sided) are a
very thin veggie tanned roo and the opposite side is cowhide with
a felt like texture. I have been starting on the cowhide and finishing
with the roo which has a unique texture I have not ever felt before,
very silky with a great draw. The roo is quite thin as you can see
in the pic’s so the cowhide along with the handle pull everything
nice and tight. Very well made, Chicago screws, strong and comfortable to grip.
2.5” x 26” including the handle. Thanks David!

Bootiful and I really like the handle assembly.

Roo is a ton of fun to strop on.
    Enjoy!

Excellent photos! Your new strop looks very, very nice. Smooooooooooth leather for an ultrasharp edge. The handle is well designed and good looking, too.

Thank you everybody, and especially lz6 for your kind words.
