Fontana #14
Here's my latest one. (I'm pretty convinced of the #14 blades by now.)
This one was NOS and I couldn't resist.
Just had a shave with her and it was great.
The brand puzzles me a bit though.
The box says solingen, but the reverse side of the blade has a stamp saying industrial Cuceillera, suggesting something spanish...
Enjoy the pics. More in my album.

I have also seen German 14 and 13 and 12 blades. I'm pretty sure I remember posts somewhere about Filly blades being from a German drop forge and possibly that Puma got their blanks from the same place, but I don't remember any details.

Thanked: 13245The #14 blades were forged by Hugo Herkenrath, and produced by Giesen & Forsthoff from 1945 into the 70s. You will find them on Dorko, Gesse, German Hoppe, Lafont/Madrid and several others.
This is the statement, how far to believe in that statement is the question???
Myself I don't believe anything as fact, until I see it on a pre 1970 listing then I accept it as highly probable... Some people have taken this to the extreme to say that every single blade stamped with a #14 are all the same, myself I think that highly duobtful... But never say never in razordom until it is proved...
