Two nice antique blades.
I got the W&B about 10 days ago. It's a 7/8 with the VR stamp. Beautiful etching on the blade.
The Wostenholm came in the post today. The scales are dyed blonde horn to make them look like tortoise shell. The blade is 13/16

Very nice razors! I must be getting old. These razors looked familial but I wasn't sure so I had to look them up in my database. Your Worsty looks like it has more of the blade left than mine does but the W&B looks identical. Both are excellent shavers and you will using them.

Yikes, I will I got that lucky at antique stores...I haven't found anything good in a while.
I was able to pick up a Torrey french point with a covered tang and a 7 day set of solingens in excellent condition at an antique show in November. The same antique show is coming up in March. The lady I purchased the stuff from said to come back in March and she'd make sure she brought her stuff. Can't wait.

Very nice pair of Sheffields. I love frosted/etched blades.
I'm wondering about the W&B and the "VR" cypher. That and the queen's crown would indicate to me government property, but it's far too fancy a razor for that. Could it have something to do with the death of Queen Victoria in 1901?I strop my razor with my eyes closed.
