Default Solingen "Best Silver Steel" 5/8's Round Point

Sometimes you just get lucky with a good snag. All I really had to do was give this a little scrub and a once over with some polish so not any reason to put it under the restoration thread. The etching is pretty well perfect, no hone wear, upper and lower jimps, a couple small spots on the tang and a little wear there but all in all in great shape. I was thinking about building some clear scales for it but the factory scales are in great shape so I think I'll leave them be. Enjoy .

Nice Razor. I am very partial to solingen steel... You would have broken my heart if you ripped off the original scales

Glad to keep your heart intact lol, no reason to take them off or replace them here. I've been wanting a little Solingen round point for a while now and got lucky here. My only other round point it a 7/8's Clauss.

I was a little if-ie about it too but I kept looking it over and over and had to try and snag it. I'm glad I did.

Nice! I really like the color within the etch, in my opinion it just takes the look to another level. At first glance I thought something was inlaid within the blade.

This is what the hunt is all about! A nearly mint Solingen, and it should be a very fine shaver. Congratulations.
