My two e-bays arrived today
The Wester Bros doesn't appear to have ever seen a hone, if so not much at all, the bone scales are in great shape, as is the blade. I think its gonna really turn out to be a great shaver
The H. Cowlishaw & Sons also doesn't appear to have seen a hone much either, just has some plain black scales but they look alright for me, it ended up looking way better than the e-bay pic !
All that has been done to both is a decent cleaning and a little polishing with Mothers Mag Wheel Polish, gonna clean em up better this weekend then hone em up !
Right @ 25 bucks for the both, delivered ! Not Bad for a Corn Fed Country BoyLast edited by blugill; 02-18-2011 at 04:34 AM.

There you go again Mark. You're at it again . Someone should take the computer off your hands (or the credit cards).
Seriously, those are great scores buddy. Great belated B-Day presents, eh? Enjoy them . Can't wait to see them on SOTD soon.
Come to think of it...I should hire you to find me deals like that on the bay .

Thanks Robert, just started a new job Thursday and the RAD is kickin back in, what can I say I can't help it. I soon will have a Japanese razor in rotation, just need to get the checks rollin again, and if the wifey took all that away from me, I still would find a way to feed the addiction Thanks again buddy and I will have a SOTD this weekend Have a great weekend my friend !!!

Thanks everyone, I believe I got very lucky on the Wester Bros, just finished up polishing & honing this one and to my surprise the blade is a double grind, and I believe it is around 1/2 to 3/4 hollow but I'm not exactly sure. The bone scales are in fantastic shape and the blade looks near mint, I think this razor was put in its box and tossed in a drawer and forgotten about. Zero signs of wear, and took very little to have shave ready ! Gonna start on the Cowlishaw later today or tomorrow. Thanks for the kind words everyone, and have a great day ! Mark
