    Default Antiquing today...

Got lucky today. And the best part of it came about 3 seconds after I gave up finding anything of real interest.

First find was a 6/8 James Barber ERA Sheffield

then just after I gave up................................................ ..................
A seven day set of 11/16 K.P.S. Solingen razors

The K.P.S. set aren't all in the best condition as one was chipped so I've already got that one in the tumbler and they'll all need new scales since the one's on them are hideous so it looks like I've got my work cut out for me. Too bad none of the other razors panned out as I found nearly 20 others today but they were all too far gone.

It's too bad I'm not into safety razors. This guy had gotten a huge bunch of stuff from an estate and there were probably 20 someodd double edge and single edge razors. He had some of the pre-electric wind up DE razors. We handed one to my mom who was with me and I think she nearly had a coronary. The antuque guy and I both thought it was funny.

Great finds Michael, it gives me a glimmer of hope for finding razors in the NW. I have to beat out quite a few collectors and a couple of members here who are retired. Enjoy and see you soon.

Great finds, but I beg you to reconsider rescaling that 7 day set... those razors are fine as they are :O
