    Default Don't ya hate when.....

Dont ya hate when you go looking for razors find several duds then you see a pristine box hiding. Your heart jumps, you approach slow, so as not to let the purveyor know you want run, there by killing any hopes of bargaining. You grab the box (this time a H.Boker Red Injun) take a breath and open it. Inside you see a mirror polished monkey tail poking out. Sliding it slowly out of its box is 6"of beautifully shiny black unmarred scales with the tree logo inlayed. Riding on top you see the shimmer of the smooth steel spine. No rust at all yet, excitment builds as you creep the blade open to see perfection. And it is no rust.......Just that huge chip! 3/16 by 1/8 an inch from the toe! And your excitment flubbers around the room like a balloon let go before its tied. I suppose it could be ground down but its just not the same.

knight in my hunts, i have found many many of those type, all you can do is say a silent prayer for the dearly departed, and put the box back for the next person to find

I hate when all the razors are lock in cases and you have to keep getting different keys to open them. The store owner was getting upset with me. She had pointed out a few booths that had razors. I checked them many overpriced all unusable. I told her they were going to actually be used. I asked her for another key she said why you didn't like the others. People rent space to place their items. For the rent she just needs to open cases and try to help sell, she did not like I was taking her away from her T.V. show. We asked when we walked in what time she closed (5:30). it was 4:15 when we arrived. At 5:10 she walked through and just about pushed all her customers out and this is a big store. By 5:12 there were 9 customers looking somewhat confused headed to there cars. I am more upset by the razor. But not a good experience over all.

Lol it was 24$ but there were others described just like that only 60 bucks was the least expensive and the edge was black with pitting.

I did the same exact thing with a pristine 7/8+ "LEADER" full hollow a couple weeks ago.

OMG I nearly bought it for the sheer fact that it was so frigging beautiful, if it werent' for the massive chip right in the middle of the blade
