Thread: HOLY ANTIQUE SHOW MOTHERLOAD!!!

SCORE!?!?!

So I was a bit bored today and decided to head out to the local antique show that was in town. I had never been to this show before so didn't know what to expect. WOW,,,,I'm so glad I went. I was only able to go to about half of the booths that vendors set up (there were hundreds) so I was a man on a MISSION!

I found gobs of old straights strewn about in display cases randomly just waiting to be taken home. So after about two hours of scouring, haggling, and quite honestly being so excited I almost crapped my pants, I finally walked out of the building with 17 old straight razors and the cool old "dresser box" which I'm going to repurpose as my "shave box".

Granted most the razors I found were far from perfect but I know I found some gems and a few HAVE to be at least a hundred years old. I tried to pick the blades with the least amount of pitting/rust. All of them have the original scales which some are decent and some pretty rough. Even got the original box for a few of them. Next week the gun and knife show comes to town!
